Don’t worry here are a few answers to common questions clients have.
What’s the first step?
Well, you like what you see, the only thing left to do is click contact and tell me what you are in need of weather it be family photos, headshots, video promos or .It is important to us that Strikingly Odd Media's style and personality is the best fit for you and your needs, aesthetic style and personality.
How do I know what days and times are available?
That's easy simply use the online booking option where pricing, available times and dates are easily accessible with just a few clicks!
Do you have a studio? Where should we take our pictures or video session?
I have a few dedicated studio spaces I work with. The beautiful outdoors are my absolute favorite studio! I love trying new locations In Delaware/Philadelphia/Maryland but I also have my favorites. I am available to help you decide the perfect place for your shoot. Please remember there is a travel fee for locations outside of New Castle and Kent County Delaware.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, I do request that all clients sign a contract
Do I need to pay a deposit and when is the balance due?
Yes, please in order to secure your session. This is a non-refundable fee. The Balance is due on the day the event or session takes place.
Is there a perfect time of day for my photos?
Golden hour! The 1-2 hours before the sun sets is the best time to shoot.
How long will the session take?
You can expect to be on location with me for 1-1.5 hours
We have some ideas of our own. Can we try them?
You bet! Come prepared with any props your idea may require, and let us know what you’re thinking. We are always up for trying new things. Think of your kids favorite toys, special books, or bring fresh flowers for your photo studio session. These could be valuable in making the photography experience personal.
Can you make the weather cooperate?
Unfortunately, I can’t control Mother Nature. However, if weather conditions are not favorable due to rain or high wind we will reschedule your session.
What if I need to reschedule?
No problem! Please try to contact me at least 24 hours in advance in the event that you need to reschedule. We will find a time for you!
You took so many pictures! Do I get them all?
You will hear my camera clicking a lot! I take a lot of images in order to capture that perfect moment. No, you won’t get every image that I take. I will choose the best of the best and those images will be edited and delivered to you.
Why can't you just send me raw pictures?
Every image that leaves my desk is a representation of my business and brand, raw images are not a direct reflection of the session or experience.
Can you make me thinner (do you retouch your images?)
I will do minor retouches and cover blemishes or scars. However, I believe that we all have a unique perspective to add and like to keep my images as natural as possible. I will not retouch your images to where you are unrecognizable ( i.e over softened skin).
Can I add my own edits later on my phone?
Please understand that each photo delivered to you has been worked on individually to best suit your in session needs. I am in no way shape or form in control of what you do on your phone so of course you can! But please do not tag me or credit me on an image you put a filter on or alter in any way. I would not want any potential client thinking that I produced an image you personally posted.
How long will it take before I can see my images?
I know that you are thrilled and can't wait to see your images. Final edits will be ready and delivered within 3-4 weeks for portrait sessions and up to 8 weeks for weddings. You will get a sneak peek of your session so don't worry.
How I can see my images?
Your images will be delivered via online gallery personalized for your viewing pleasure. You will be provided with a password and will be able to download from the gallery as well.

CLOTHING RECOMMENDATIONS
What should I wear?
This is an important consideration. First, you must stay true to who you are. Be comfortable. Then…kick it up just a tiny notch! The days of “matchy matchy” are long gone. pick a color palette and then coordinate from there. Think textures, layers, and fun!

With family photography it is recommended that you choose simple, textured apparel that reflect your personality. Choose clothes that are flattering for you.
Most importantly make sure you choose three to four colors and have everyone stick to those shades so that the family's clothes coordinate together.
Can we change clothes during the photo session?
Of course you can! Be mindful that we are on a time limit the normal outfit limit is 2 looks and 3 if we have time.

What if I want prints?
Upon receiving your photos you will select your choices of photos you want printed and sizes at an additional cost per print.

How are the session styles so different?
Every session in an opportunity to create new memories and lasting impressions. You may be inspired by another photo session but the fun is all in creating a whole new magic with you and your ideas.
